1. Who provides the service
The platform GradeBook (catalogul.online) is developed and operated by Visual Concept SRL, a company registered in Romania. For any question about the service you can write to us at contact@catalogul.online.
2. What the platform does
GradeBook is an electronic gradebook for schools. It handles school years, classes, subjects and staff, records grades and absences, calculates averages, generates school reports and keeps students and parents informed.
3. Accounts and access
- Staff accounts (administrator, homeroom teacher, teacher) are created by invitation from the school.
- Parent accounts are created on request and become active only after email verification and validation by the homeroom teacher or administrator.
- Sign-in uses a one-time code sent by email. We don't use passwords.
- Each user is responsible for keeping access to their email address confidential.
4. The school's role and ours
The school decides which school data is entered and who has access; for data protection purposes, the school is the controller, while Visual Concept SRL acts as the platform provider (data processor), in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5. Proper use
- Using the platform to access data of students other than those you are entitled to is prohibited.
- Copying, publishing or distributing personal data obtained through the platform is prohibited.
- Attempting to bypass security mechanisms or overload the service is prohibited.
All important actions are recorded in an audit log (who, what and when). Breaking the rules may lead to immediate account suspension.
6. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service always available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. The electronic gradebook does not replace the school's legal archiving obligations.
7. Generated documents
School reports exported as PDF are available through private links. Their accuracy depends on the information entered by the school.
8. Ending access
You can request deletion of your account at any time by writing to us at contact@catalogul.online or by asking the school. School data remains under the school's administration.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last update date shown above.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes are settled by the competent courts in Romania.
